ice

In PEI, where I live, it has been one #$#%^! cold January - record-breaking, in fact.  I was all set to go out & photograph lovely icicles hanging from the eaves, and then today - finally - the temperature went up a bit, all the way to -8!  So, no icicles, due to the 'melt'.  But the sun was out & the nasty street ice-dirt was shining, so that's what I turned my lens toward.  Here is a glamour shot of ice-dirt, for your viewing pleasure.  That stuff will stick around until May.  See Juliana's photo here.  Tomorrow is Directions.
